This week we are learning to make
Text to Text Connections which means that we think of another book as we are reading. We read
The Great Gracie Chase and that reminded us of
Henry and Mudge. Both are stories about dogs. We discussed how the books were similar and how they were different.
Next we read,
Rosie in the Way, a story about a dog that always gets in the owners way. We discussed how thinking about other stories can help us understand the book we are currently reading. In Library today, Mr. Bober read
The Blue House Dog. We were able to share with all we learned about
Text to Text Connections.
